About
What this site is
KeenRate publishes financial calculators for a United States audience. The distinguishing choice is small and deliberate: every tool shows the inflation-adjusted result next to the nominal one, in equal visual weight, because the real figure is the one that corresponds to anything you can buy.
How the tools are built
Every calculator runs client-side in your browser. Nothing you type is transmitted, logged or stored — there is no account system and no database behind this site. Each calculator page publishes the formula it uses and an explicit list of what it does not model, because a projection whose assumptions are hidden is not information.
Where the numbers come from
The calculators compute from the values you enter using standard, published formulas — there is no proprietary model and no external data feed. Each calculator page states its formula in full so the arithmetic can be checked independently. Where a guide cites research, the source and the period studied are named on the page.
How this site makes money
Advertising. That is the whole model, and it is worth being plain about what it does and does not buy. Advertisers have no influence over what a calculator computes or what the guides say. We do not run lead-generation forms, we do not sell visitor data, and we do not accept payment for placement or recommendation. If we ever add affiliate links, they will be labelled as such on the page where they appear.
What this site is not
It is not financial advice, and nobody here is your adviser. These are arithmetic tools that compute exactly what you ask them to compute using the assumptions you supply. They cannot know your tax situation, your risk tolerance, your job security or your health, all of which matter more than any projection. Use the output as one input to a decision, and talk to a licensed professional about the decision itself.
Corrections
If a formula here is wrong, we want to know and we will fix it and say so. Write to us through the contact page with the calculator, the inputs you used and the result you expected.
